People equate transparent reverbs as hi-end, ie. I have used VSS3, Lexicon PCM, Aether too, and WarmVerb makes my set complete. It makes synths sound "Super" fresh/exciting! WarmVerb gives Character, it's like an aural blanket that imparts life and movement. WarmVerb is more for creating that Aural BITE in synths and FX. Especial for BIG verbs.Yes, Other reverbs like Aether, Lexicon PCM Bundle, VSS3 etc does Main reverbs v.well. I wouldn't use it as my main reverb, though.Īether is a better reverb to my ears. You can get really creative with warmverb. Warmverb is ok, and I like some of the modulation stuff it offers. Surely I'm not the only one mad about his relatively unknown reverb? Seriously, Compare them back to back and hear for yourself. Cos it's got a unique sound about it that I've never experienced with the other reverbs mentioned previously. If you already own the big hitters like aether, lexicon, tc, CSR, etc, you owe to yourself to try this WARMverb. Then crank the Modulation para to Max and be blown away. Look, just go and try out the demo, make sure to turn off all the other fx's in the plugin and just select the "Large" reverb unit. I'm blown away by this cheap little reverb and I wanted to share it/ask if anyone has tried it and loved it like me to share their thoughts. I rarely use much reverb in my mixes anyway, so I'm not crazy about reverbs, however, this Warmverb is so unique and beautiful we bought it straight away just cos it's real special. You don't get much reverb algorithms though, just 3, however, the Character and quality of the reverb is absolutely amazing. It's technically marketed as a Multi FX Plugin by Tone 2, who also makes the famous Gladiator 2 synth. Seriously, you hear mentions of REDline, aether, Lexicon PCM Bundle, VSS3, Breverb, Lex 480L, CSR, DVR2, UAD EMT250 etc. I was playing with it for a good 30mins feeling absorbed by this relatively unheard of reverb that no one ever raves about that much. So I tried the demo and Holy Batcaves! the reverb was so darn good I couldn't belive my ears. only has 3 types of reverb, small, and Ultra. Aether is more expensive but Great we know, but.
